Biography
 

I am an American born, International Artist, having lived 31 years of my adult life in Germany, which is reflected in most of my current work.  My visual art has won many juried competitions and has been published in numerous magazines, newspapers, and on book covers in Europe and America.  My recent book of poetry, This Particular Kiss, won the 24th Annual Pearl Poetry Prize.  While I have had day jobs as a gardener, a printer, a college professor, and a counselor, I have always been an artist at heart.  I currently live in the State of Washington, near Portland, Oregon, with my wife, Susan, and a cat, Franz.
